In retrospect I realize that I began fantastically during my oral argument, only to get overexcited and lose the steam. The owl of Minerva has flown and left a little present on my hat.

It's a good sign when a judge says - can you tell me more about that concept? YES! I will serve you this idea that you seem intrigued with. Man that was awesome. Good sign also when the judges all say nothing and nod. Lastly, good sign when they repeat your maxim to the opposing counsel because it's the point that needs to be made. Now that I think about it, I did good at first. BAH I was so close but the end of my argument was relatively weak... I dunno. Bah.
