Halong Bay, Vietnam
According to legend, Halong Bay was carved out of the rock by the thrashing tail of a dragon. Crossing the Bay requires a good breakfast, preferably one accompanied by a pond full of koi.
On the good ship so-and-so, we set said for a winding 2-day journey through the bay. What makes Halong Bay really special is that the water is cut by many rough karsks. Some have caves or beaches that you can explore.

At night, the stars from the boat seem endless. The Vietnamese are very proud of this little slice of heaven, and for good reason.
